Head Coach Biographies

This year, we have the following head coaches flying in from Europe as well as several coaches and assistant coaches from our local community.

Brian Robertson Brian Robertson Head Coach My name is Brian Robertson, and I am 24 years old. At the moment I am currently working in Perth Scotland for a Christian Charity called The Scotland Trust coaching football (soccer) in schools, whilst sharing my faith with them. I have been a Christian for 6 years, I am really excited about my second year at camp, to coach football and share my faith with the kids at camp.

Caitlin Calhoun Caitlin Calhoun Head Coach Hi, I'm Caitlin Calhoun and I'm 19. I've been coaching soccer since I was 12 in this area and for the past 2 years I have been living in Scotland working with young people, telling them about God and His love for us in schools and after school programs. I am looking forward to being home this summer coaching at some great camps, including this one, and seeing what God has in store for me before I return back to Scotland to start university.

John Gillespie John Gillespie Head Coach I am John Gillespie. I am 17 and I am from Forres the north-east of Scotland. I have played soccer all my life and I love to teach others how to play. I have just completed school and I work as a part-time lifeguard and swimming teacher. I hope to pass on my knowledge of our great God and lots of soccer technique at a fun-packed camp.

Paul Charles Paul Charles Head Coach I've been coaching kids soccer for the past 10 years throughout England, Scotland and the U.S. I started off working for an organisation called Youth For Christ when I was 18 and stayed with them until enrolling in college in Philadelphia 3 years ago. I'm now learning more about the bible so I can teach it in churches and youth groups, and I spent the last three months in Jerusalem walking where Jesus walked! I'm looking forward to coaching this summer and watching as much of the World Cup as I can!
